Why to HDR

In recent past I had some questions why do I make landscape only in HDR... There were some photographers who claimed that they make image as they saw it on location...

Well unfortunately if someone wants to make image as he saw it on location, than Image must be HDR. We don't see huge areas of blown out white, or huge areas of black in shadows. Our eyes adjust so fast that it is practically impossible to see blown out areas or black shadows. Sometimes eyes even trick us.

The gray line is same gray color all over the background and my eyes would swear that it is darker on right side and lighter on left side...

All three squares are same brown color, but my eyes would swear that the brown on dark side of cube is lighter than the square on light side of cube... There are lots and lots of examples when our eyes are tricked...

What about the camera... it has much, much, much lower dynamic  range and if someone would see as camera see the world, he would be so disabled that there is no chance he would be able to drive a car. Most probably that person would see just enough to walk around only just before sunrise and just after sunset.

If we observe objects around as we see them in HDR, and that is why I'm doing landscape only in HDR.
